Making a difference! That’s a great goal. ...Stacy,
Making a difference! That’s a great goal. Through anti-bias education, I believe we can accomplish this goal! I can tell from your post you care about children and you are interested in their success. You see, I think that is a problem with our field, teachers don’t love what they do anymore. I know that we do not get paid what we deserve for whatever reasons but we teach anyway because we love kids. Keep encouraging children and families! Thanks for your thoughts and support throughout this program.
Yolonda from the Who Dat Nation!https://www.blogger.com/profile/15896027204098428407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8680473681725784031.post-40278687383359394822013-08-24T04:15:09.171-07:002013-08-24T04:15:09.171-07:00Hi Stacy, it is very clear from your writing that ...Hi Stacy, it is very clear from your writing that you are fully committed to implementing an anti-bias curriculum in the center where you work. I can identify with many of your choices. Adding on from this I appreciate the words of Edwards (Laureate Inc., 2011) about decisions. We have made a decision to help "raise children proud in who they are, connected to their families, connected to their communities, open to-, eager to embrace people who are different." Here's wishing you every success in your life's journey and continued growth in anti-bias education.Jody Krugerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14308478995524011442noreply@blogger.com
